About ADHD

ADHD is one of the most common mental disorders that affect pediatric patients (children and teens). Because inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity can all be normal behaviors for a young child, making a diagnosis of ADHD often requires the degree and impairment of these symptoms to be beyond what is developmentally appropriate.

Although ADHD is common, there are limited treatment options, meaning there is a need for new treatments.

The Children & Teens ADHD Study is testing a new investigational treatment for Children & Teens with ADHD to see if it can help the symptoms.

All medications must be tested in clinical research studies before they can be approved by regulatory authorities for doctors to prescribe to patients.
